My real passion is exploring remote places, this desire has led me to the African Continent, and for me Africa offers the ultimate destinations for my explorations. The most exciting aspect of traveling Africa is meeting and connecting with the people and their amazing cultures.

Having traveled all the continents extensively (except Antarctica), I have conceptualized, planned, organized, participated, and led many expeditions throughout the world, including Africa, Asia, and the Americas. I have particularly enjoyed my many Expeditions into remote areas of Africa.

This website includes excerpts from my travel journals, recording my experiences of some of my African Expeditions, as well as visual representation from my photographic archives. I have also developed my own extensive film collection, of which promos are available on request.

I value the sacredness of the individual and believe that by sharing with others the opportunity to participate in this style of travel, I will also be sharing the amazing sense of achievement, freedom, peacefulness, excitement, timelessness, relaxation and fun that I have experienced during my explorations. Expeditions open up new avenues for self-discovery, creativity, release, knowledge and communication, as well as the development of respect for and interaction with people from remarkably diverse cultures.

My objective is not only to continue my expeditions, photography and filming in Africa and worldwide, but also to pursue further challenges and opportunities by becoming involved with international programs and projects, that can utilize my unique mélange of skills. With the resources and network that I have cultivated, I have ‘direct access’ to reach communities and to communicate with community leaders in areas not usually visited by Westerners. With my holistic grasp and broad perspective of past and present day exploration, fused with a strong business background, I believe that I can offer an invaluable contribution to socially-conscious organizations and foundations involved in outreach projects in this milieu, to ensure that their support reaches the communities to which it is directed, even in the extreme corners of the world and most remote depths of Africa.

My recent travels have taken me from South Africa to Libya, from Mauritania to Zanzibar and several destinations in between. For me, Africa is the ultimate place for my explorations.
