FUTURE EXPEDITIONS

1 - Sahara Desert Crossing; Steve Krenzen, Alberto Necheli, Ali Maloud, Mohamed Bilal and there team will cross the entire Sahara Desert west to east. This mammoth journey will commence in Nouakchott, the capital city of Mauritania. We will travel east through Mauritania, Mali, Niger, Chad and Sudan, finishing seventy-five days later at the town of Port Sudan located on the Red Sea.

Many years ago Ali Malouds great grandfather and some of his friends made this long journey across the Sahara heading towards their final destination, Mecca for the Hajj. Their journey took these hearty gents about one and one half years. They did this on the backs of their camels.

We dedicate our journey in the memory of these hearty gents!

Sponsorship is required.
Brochure and DVD’s are available upon request.

2 - Seven Deserts Expedition
This expedition will cover the seven largest deserts on earth. The duration of this expedition will be about fourteen months total. This is being organized by Dan von Geijer, he is based in the US. I have joined the team to organize and coordinate the logistics for the two major African destinations, the Kalahari Desert in Botswana and the Sahara Desert in Northern Africa. This expedition will cover four different Sahara Countries.

3 - Recce Trips are Exploratory Trips and often require the same style of travel as an Expedition. Our Expeditions take place in extremely remote locations not often visited by outsiders or in the case of our Okavango Delta Mekoro Expedition; travel via non-conventional transport. On our Expeditions, we bring all supplies with us, food, fuel, spares, tents, ECT. Within these locations there is no way to resupply, so whatever we bring must last us the entire Journey.

Often with our Recce Trips, we operate in similar conditions as an Expedition, where we need to bring all of our supplies, but with some of the Recce’s we can resupply in route.

Recce/Exploratory Trips I have completed:

*Northern Zambia Waterfall Recce
*Lake Tanganyika Ferryboat Trip
*Walk from Matusadana National Park to Elephant Point
*Six-Day Walk in Hwange National Park
*Remote Regions of Western Desert and Sinai Egypt
*Exploring Libya, Desert and Historic Sites

*Makgadikgadi Pans Quad Bike Trip

Sailing a traditional Dhow from Zanzibar to Mombassa
We will be sailing in a large transport Dhow. There will be the Captain and his crew of about 15, four fellow explorers and myself. The journey is only about three to four days, but in modern times is not often done. We will cover the exact route from hundreds of years ago.
